The Trisolini Gallery (TG) was established on April 20, 1974 to house the growing art collections of Ohio University (OU) and to commemorate the teachings and life of Fine Arts Dean Anthony G. Trisolini, who died in 1972. Under the supervision of his successor, Henry H. Lin, the TG's mission was to "educate by re-affirming and challenging cultural and aesthetic expectation."
